Last week's post about the picture gifts was a nice creative ideas but how about if someone draws the pictures in a cartoonish style?  Nowadays, with sites like fiverr.com, it's easy to find someone who will draw you or your picture in a cartoon way!  For example--time for some shameless self-promotion!--I have a gig set up on fiverr where I will draw whatever picture you send me (you can let me know how you'd like it drawn) and I will send it back.  See more about the gig here.

Picture Gifts, the new Craze!

I have fallen in love with picture gifts!  From photo books, photo cups, photo puzzles, photo water bottles, I have had such a great experience with giving photo gifts to the people I love.

A month ago, when I was down, I received a note from a close friend on flowery stationary stating reasons why I am amazing and how he is glad to have me as friend. To be man enough to go out there and even buy the stationary makes him an awesome friend to have. Thank you very much! I hope you all have a friend you really care about and can make their day like he did mine! Go out there and DO IT!!!

Other than the fact that the quote is a chiasmus and Oprah came up with it, I recently received this advice from a fortune cookie at the dining hall. Along with another fortune that told me "Don't panic!" and such, I suddenly wondered what it'd be like to receive a huge fortune cookie with a personalized fortune inside.

From personalized fortune cookies to pictures on oreo cookies, this site has got it all! It's fun and entertaining to watch someone's expression when they receive these gifts because, quite frankly, who'd think to receive a huge fortune cookie for a present?
