Today's focus is on letters. Not very creative, huh? Wrong. The only thing that's the same between all letters is the fact that it's on paper and you write a message on it. Besides those facts, everything else is different. The language is different, the handwriting's different, the message, the grammar, the expressions as well as the little inside jokes you share with the recipient! So here's some ways to spruce up the original way of communication (that is, after the spoken counterpart):
1. I Love You
Alright, what the heck does that say? It says "I love you" in Webdings. I wish it looked a little bit more impressive but unfortunately, I cannot draw my own letters for you guys. Well anyways, writing a letter in your very own alphabet! Creative, fun, innovative! Plus, it makes your loved ones think! Workin' that brain juice! I have my own alphabet used for my loved ones. It's fun! Try it out! You'll be surprised!
2. Breaking News, Breaking News!!
Ever want to have a story published to the front page of a newspaper? Ever want to BE on the front page of a newspaper? Well, here's your chance! Make it fun and exciting! Fold the paper up to make 3 columns and paste a picture of yourself in the center! Design the heading! Go all out! For the lovers, headlines can read "A Mysterious Revelation: I'm Lovesick!" or "A Simple Request: Do You Love Me?" For family members and friends, something cute like "Missing the Family: How've You Been?" or "Coming Soon to Theaters: The Journey Home to You!" Have fun with it! Write your letter as a journalist!
3. HiYa ThERe!
For those who like challenges (and have a lot of time), try the newspaper/magazine cut-out letters idea! Not only will your letter look a whole lot cooler, but it will have your loved one shocked at the amount of time you're willing to take to make it. It shows how much you care and they'll love it forever! However, I do recommend 2 things: 1) use a craft knife to cut out the letters because scissors are a pain and 2) don't make a huge message with the letters...it'll take forever!
That's the 1st three ways for writing letters creatively! Stay tuned for the next "Dear Loved One..."! Whenever it'll appear?
Back story: I love writing letters! I love the idea and the application. I have trouble expressing how I feel sometimes so I feel like letters are a way for me to explain them when I can't say them to my loved ones. I hope you guys have fun with it!
